Hey, I'm Luke — founder of 1836 Thread Co.

I started this in 2024 because I wanted hats that looked designed, not slapped together — pieces I'd actually wear and rotate. The brand's name is the year Texas became Texas. That's where the design lineup starts.

But this isn't a Texas brand. It's an apparel brand that happens to be from Texas. Every drop is small-batch on purpose. When a colorway sells out, the next one shows up in a different color, or a different design, or sometimes a different category entirely.

Made to be worn either way.

The hats are designed to work with boots and jeans or shorts and Nikes. Game day or gym day. Date night or airport. Nothing about them locks you into one outfit, one scene, or one version of yourself. That's the whole point.
