Hey, I'm Luke, founder of 1836 Thread Co.

I started this in 2024 because I wanted hats that looked designed, not slapped together. Pieces I'd actually wear and rotate. The name is the year Texas became Texas. That's where the lineup starts.

But this isn't a Texas brand. It's an apparel brand that happens to be from Texas. Plenty of people wearing these have never set foot in the state. They picked them up for the colors and the suede, which is exactly how I wanted it.

Boots or Nikes. Doesn't matter.

These work with jeans and boots or shorts and sneakers. Game day or gym day. Date night or airport. Nothing about them locks you into one outfit, one scene, or one version of yourself. That's the whole point.

Small runs, on purpose.

Every drop is limited because that's what one person can fund and stand behind. Most colorways don't come back. When one sells through, the next shows up in a different color, or a different design, or sometimes a different category entirely.

• Returns for 30 days if something doesn't fit or work for you.
