Refund Policy

If something doesn't fit or isn't right, here's how we handle returns, refunds, and exchanges.

1. Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. Returns requested after 30 days cannot be accepted.

2. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unworn and unused — in the same condition you received it
  • Free from damage, stains, odors, or signs of wear
  • In its original packaging with all tags attached

Items that show obvious signs of use, damage not caused by us, or missing parts may not qualify for a full refund.

3. How to Start a Return
Email us at support@1836threadco.com within 30 days of delivery. Please include:

  • Your order number
  • The reason for your return
  • A photo of the item (optional, but helpful)

We typically respond within 1–2 business days with return instructions and a return shipping address.

4. Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we can't guarantee we'll receive items shipped without tracking.
Original shipping costs (if applicable) are non-refundable.

5. Refunds
Once we receive your return, we'll inspect the item and email you within 2 business days to confirm approval.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional few days for the refund to appear on your statement.
If your return doesn't meet our eligibility criteria, we'll reach out within 2 business days of inspection. If we don't hear back from you within 14 days of that notice, we reserve the right to return the item to you at the address on file or, if the item cannot be returned, to dispose of it without further obligation.

6. Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@1836threadco.com with photos of the issue and packaging.
We'll make it right — typically with a free replacement or full refund, no return shipping required on your end.

7. Exchanges
We don't currently offer direct exchanges. To swap for a different size or colorway, start a return on the original item and place a new order for the one you want. The new order will ship as soon as it's placed; the original purchase is refunded once the return is received and inspected.

8. Refused or Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, refused delivery, or repeated failed delivery attempts, we'll refund the order minus original shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee. To re-ship the order, the customer is responsible for new shipping costs. Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.

9. Non-Returnable Items

  • Gift cards
  • Items marked "Final Sale" at the time of purchase
  • Items damaged due to customer use, washing, or alteration
