Shipping Policy

1836 Thread Co. ships every order free, with no minimum. The details below cover processing, delivery, and what happens if something goes wrong in transit.

1. Order Processing Time
Orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). Orders placed on weekends or holidays ship the next business day.
During drop launches or other high-volume periods, processing may take slightly longer. If your order is significantly delayed, we'll reach out by email.

2. Shipping Rates
Free shipping on every order. No minimum purchase required.
We ship via UPS Ground, USPS Ground Advantage, or FedEx Ground, selecting the fastest and most reliable option available for your destination. You don't need to choose — we'll pick the best carrier for you.
Need it faster? You can upgrade to USPS Priority Mail at checkout for an additional cost calculated based on your location and order weight.

3. Delivery Estimates
Standard Ground (Free): 3–7 business days after shipment
USPS Priority Mail (Upgrade): 1–3 business days after shipment
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Actual delivery may vary due to carrier delays, weather, holidays, or other circumstances outside our control.

4. Shipping Destinations
We currently ship to:

  • All 50 U.S. states
  • Washington, D.C.
  • Puerto Rico
  • U.S. Virgin Islands

We do not currently ship to other U.S. territories, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, or internationally.

5. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you'll receive a Shipment Confirmation email with your tracking number. Tracking typically updates within 24 hours of shipment.
If you haven't received tracking info within 2 business days of placing your order, please reach out — we'll sort it out.

6. Title and Risk of Loss
Title and risk of loss for all products pass to the customer when the package is delivered to the carrier. Once a package leaves our hands, it is in the carrier's possession until it reaches you. We will, however, help you resolve any issues that arise in transit (see Section 8 below).

7. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
Because we ship only within the U.S. at this time, customs and duties do not apply.

8. Damaged, Lost, or Delayed Packages

If your package arrives damaged:
Email us at support@1836threadco.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage and the packaging. We'll work with you to make it right — typically with a replacement or refund.

If your package is marked delivered but you didn't receive it:
First, check with neighbors and household members, and look around your delivery area (porches, side doors, mailrooms). If it's still missing after 48 hours, contact us and we'll help you file a claim with the carrier. Please note: replacement or refund for packages marked delivered is at our sole discretion and may depend on the outcome of the carrier's investigation.

If your package is significantly delayed:
Reach out and we'll investigate the tracking with the carrier on your behalf. We do not issue refunds for carrier-caused delays unless the package is ultimately deemed lost.

9. Circumstances Beyond Our Control
We are not liable for shipping delays, damage, or loss caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, carrier service disruptions, labor actions, government regulations, or public health emergencies.

10. International Shipping
We currently do not ship internationally.
